Meet Britt Hysen, the host of the Global E-commerce Conference
This year's host of the Global E-commerce Conference will be Britt Hysen. Britt began her career as an actress at the age of 18. Her first breaks came with a stint on AMC’s Mad Men, in Jim Carey’s Yes Man, and on Nickelodeon’s Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh.
By the time she’s turned 21 Britt was ready to take on the next challenge. With a microphone in her hand she took to the streets and began building her skills as a journalist. She worked for CNBC as their “millennial reporter” interviewing some of the most influential millennial CEO’s of our time. Recognizing the need for a publication that featured these individuals on a regular basis, Britt launched MiLLENNiAL Magazine as the platform that highlights the heroes of our generation. Within four months of its debut, MiLLENNiAL was named by the White House as a top influential digital media site for millennials and obtained over 1 million unique visits in its first year.
Today, they are widely growing their international reach and have over 100 global contributors with teams stationed in Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Johannesburg, Rio, and Taipei.
In addition to running MiLLENNiAL, Britt is also a Huffington Post blogger, experiential marketer, brand consultant, speaker, and show developer for Brian Graden Productions.
